1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, melted butter, ¼ cup sugar, and salt until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish to form the crust.
3. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. While the crust bakes, prepare the lemon filling.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
5. Pour the lemon filling over the baked crust and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set.
6. Allow the lemon bars to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before slicing into bars and serving.
